Alfredo Barbini, a very expressive “Oxide Painting” vase c. 1960s. Executed by Vetreria Alfredo Barbini, Murano-Italy. Made of hand blown red tinted glass with opaque-white inside layer. Surface rough and black-blue metallic-iridescent patinated in so called “scavo and corroso”-technique.
This piece comes directly from the sample room-pattern collection of the company Pauly & C. Venice (C.V.M.)
Marked with the old inventory label from the company Pauly & C, Venice.
