Hergestellt bei Venini & C., Murano-Italien. Dunkelgrün getöntes, stark moussierendes, Pulegoso-Glas mit dichter unregelmäßiger Blasenbildung. Ringförmig umschmolzene Mündungsrand, vier gerippte Glasbänder als Handhaben, ringförmiger Stand. (Modellnummer: 3120)

Signiert mit: venini murano (zweizeiliger Ätzstempel 1930-1945).

Notice: Napoleone Martinuzzi´s Pulegoso glass vases were never produced in large numbers of pieces. A smal group of pieces were produced for the exhibitions: „XVI Esposizione internazionale d’arte della città di Venezia“, 1928, and for the exhibitions: „Triennale delle arti decorative di Monza“ 1930. This rare, oversized „Quattro Anse“ Pulegoso vase, which becomes presented here, shows in the form of the well-known classical roman amphora-style. Its diffuse-translucent, bubbly emerald green tinted glass, and the iridescent surface make it a great example of the Italian Novecento-epoch. Today these are rare Napoleone Martinuzzi Pulegoso vases icons of pre-war Italian art and design and very popular.
