Ercole Barovier 1940. Drei einzeln gestaltete, aneinander verschmolzene Delfinplastiken mit weit geöffnetem Maul als Vasenöffnung. Farbloses, rippenoptisch geblasenes Glas mit reichlich feinverteiltem Gold in der Zwischenschicht, einzeln gekniffene, modellierte Applikationen für die Flossen und Mäuler sowie aufgeschmolzene Augen aus gelben Glas mit schwarzem Kern. Hergestellt bei Artisti Barovier respektive Barovier & Toso ca. 1940. Aus der Sammlung der C.V.M., Pauly & C., Venedig.

Ercole Barovier, 1940. Extremely rare stunning art déco vase “Golden Dolphins”, execution by Artisti Barovier respectively Barovier & Toso, Murano-Italy in 1940s. Three large applied classical dolphins are modeled individually with wide opened mouth, yellow glass murrine eyes with black core, spreading vases foot. Made of very thin hand blown, optical fine ribbed colorless glass. Interlayer decor with a lot finely shattered gold foil. A most impressive piece of Barovier & Toso showing highest quality craftsmanship of the era. This piece comes directly from the sample room-pattern collection of the company Pauly & C. Venice (C.V.M.).
In excellent condition with no chips, crack or repairs.
