Hergestellt bei Artisti Barovier respektive Barovier & Toso. Drei einzeln gestaltete, aneinander verschmolzene Delfinplastiken mit weit geöffnetem Maul als Vasenöffnung. Farbloses, rippenoptisch geblasenes Glas mit reichlich feinverteiltem Gold in der Zwischenschicht, einzeln gekniffene, modellierte Applikationen für die Flossen und Mäuler sowie aufgeschmolzene Augen aus gelben Glas mit schwarzem Kern.

Ercole Barovier, art déco vase “Golden Dolphins” c. 1940. Eexecuted by Artisti Barovier respectively Barovier & Toso, Murano-Italy. Made of hand blown, colorless optical ribbed glass. Three large applied classical dolphins are modeled individually with wide opened mouth, yellow glass murrine eyes with black core, spreading vases foot. Interlayer decor with a lot finely shattered gold foil.
A most impressive piece of Barovier & Toso showing highest quality craftsmanship of the era.
This piece comes directly from the sample room-pattern collection of the company Pauly & C. Venice (C.V.M.).
In excellent condition with no chips, crack or repairs.
