Carlo Scarpa, vase-object “Cinesi Battuto” c. 1940. Executed by Venini & C., Murano-Italy. Part of the Battuto Series 1936-1945. Made of hand blown, black-violet colored glass vases body in calabash form. The surface is finished with all around small carved grooves in so called “battuto”-technique. Highest Quality!
In excellent condition, with no cracks, chips or repairs.
