Hergestellt bei Vetreria Alfredo Barbini. Mehrschichtig aufgebautes Vasenobjekt in Kalebassenform. Vasenoberteil aus farblosem Glas, opak-Rot und opak-Weiß unterfangenem, verschmolzen mit dem unteren Teil der Vase aus transparent-hellgrauem Glas. Die Oberfläche ist in der für Barbini typischen a Scavo-Technik Grau patiniert.
Bezeichnet mit dem Inventaretikett der Firma Pauly & C., Venedig.

Alfredo Barbini “Incalmo Scavo” vase c. 1960. Executed by Vetreria Alfredo Barbini, Murano-Italy. Body in calabash form, upper part made of colorless glass with opaque-red and opaque white inside layers fused on the lower part made of transparent pale gray tinted glass. Executed in so called „incalmo“-technique. Surface in the typical Barbini „scavo“-technique, grey patinated.
This piece comes directly from the sample room-pattern collection of the company Pauly & C. Venice (C.V.M.).
