Alfredo Barbini „Incalmo a Scavo“ Vase ca. 1960. Zweiteilig hergestelltes, mehrschichtig aufgebautes Vasenobjekt in Kalebassen Form. Vasenoberteil aus farblosem Glas, opak-rot und opak-weiß unterfangenem, verschmolzen mit dem unteren Teil der Vase aus transparentem, hellgrauem Glas. Die Oberfläche ist in der für Barbini typischen a Scavo-Technik grau patiniert. Bezeichnet mit dem Inventaretikett der Firma Pauly & Cia., Venedig.

Very expressive “Incalmo Scavo” vase, body in calabash form with spreading vases mouth. Upper part made of colorless glass with opaque-red and opaque white inside layers fused on the lower part made of transparent pale gray tinted glass. Executed in so called „incalmo“-technique. Surface in the typical Barbini „scavo“-technique, grey patinated. Execution by Vetreria Alfredo Barbini, Murano-Italy c. 1960. This piece comes directly from the sample room-pattern collection of the company Pauly & C. Venice (C.V.M.).
