Tyra Lundgren, art deco leaf bowl in “Vetro Opalino d´Oro iridescente”. Executed by Venini & C., Murano-Italy,c. 1930s. Hand blown colorless glass with white opalescent-iridescent overlay, rim with small irregular cuts. Interlayer with fused burst gold foil finished. Highest Quality!
In excellent condition, with no cracks, chips or repairs.

Notice: Tyra Lundgren (painter, ceramist, glass & textile designer and writer) worked as the first freelance artist for Venini in 1938 and created several series incorporating fishes, birds, and leaves. She returned to Venini in 1948, and designed the forms among other things of the Calla vases, but the surface patterns were designed by Carlo Scarpa (mezza-filigrana, tessuto, corroso, battuto, etc.).
