Hergestellt bei Venini & C., Murano-Italien. Dunkelgrün getöntes, stark moussierendes Pulegoso-Glas mit dichter unregelmäßiger Blasenbildung. Beidseitig abgeflachteter Vasenkörper, aufgeschmolzene, gewellte Bandhenkel, umschmolzener Mündungsrand.
Signiert: venini murano (zweizeiliger Ätzstempel 1930-1945).

Napoleone Martinuzzi, art déco “Amphora” vase c. 1930/40. Executed by Venini & C., Murano-Italy. Made of hand blown green tinted glass with many irregularly bubbles so called ”pulegoso-glass” with two wavy-shaped band handles, flared vases neck.
Exhibitions: „Triennale delle arti decorative di Monza“ 1930.
Signed: two line acid stamp venini murano (1930-1945)
In excellent condition, with no cracks, chips or repairs.

Notice: the pulegoso glass is a particular decorative type of semi-opaque glass, this is the result by adding a mix of bicarbonate of soda, gasoline or other substances in to the glass melt. The result is an surface with irregular texture with many bubbles of different sizes in the glass.
