Notice: Ermanno Nason was born in Murano in 1928 into a family of glassblowers. He began learning the craft at the age of nine. He then worked for I.V.R. Mazzega until 1958, after which he ran Arte E. Nason s.n.c. from 1959 to 1962 and Scarpa & Nason s.n.c. from 1962 to 1963. He also collaborated with the Fucina degli Angeli manufactory, whose various artists influenced him greatly. From 1964 to 1972, he worked as a master glassblower for Gino Cenedese, primarily focusing on the Sommerso technique and executing designs by Antonio Da Ros. In 1972, he reopened Arte E. Nason s.n.c., closing the company in 1993.
