Compagnie di Vetri e Mosaici de Venezia e Murano (C.V.M) resp. Maestri Vetrai Muranesi Cappellin & C. (M.V.M.), Murano-Italy, are and antique, art déco, soffiato glass bowl c. 1930/34. Made of hand blown, very thin, transparent brilliant cobalt blue tinted glass with metallic-opalescent, iridescent overlay. Excellent quality!
This piece comes directly from the sample room-pattern collection of the company Pauly & C. Venice (C.V.M.), exhibit piece for the museum of the company Pauly & C.
Marked with the old red inventory label with note “NR”.
Early multi point pontil scar. In excellent condition no chips, crack or repairs.
