Hergestellt bei Gino Cenedese & C., Murano-Italien. Alexandrit-Uran-Glas mit komplexem Farbverlauf von oliv bis fliederfarben. Massiver Stand aus Alexandrit-Gas mit drei olivfarbenen Fadeneinschmelzungen und einer eingestochenen, olivfarben überfangenen Luftblase. Kragenförmig nach unten umgelegter Schalenrand. (Entwurf und Ausführung: Antonio da Ros)
Alexandritglas verändert seine Farbigkeit, je nach Lichtquelle, von zart lila nach türkis.

Antonio da Ros, (design and execution) centerpiece c. 1960. Manufactured by Vetreria Gino Cenedese & C., Murano-Italy. Made of pale greenish tinted glass with a color gradient to pale purple tinted glass, body in bell form, foot of solid alexandrite-glass with large submerged and covered olive-green tinted air bubble and three ribbons. Dish mouth rim folded wide downwards. Executed in so called “sommerso”-technique . Alexandrite glass changes the color from pale purple to turquoise, in different light source.
In excellent condition no chips, crack or repairs.
