Napoleone Martinuzzi, 1930. Sehr seltene Pulegoso-Glas-Plastik einer mediterranen Sukkulente “Pianta grassa”. Blaues, moussierendes Schaumglas, frei ausgeformt mit leicht irisierender Oberflache. Gefäß und Pflanze sind miteinander verschmolzen. Hergestellt bei Vetri Soffiati Muranese, Venini & C., (V.S.M.), Murano-Italien ca.1930, Aus der Mustersammlung Pauly & Cia., Venedig.

Rare, antique, art deco, sculpture-ornament in shape of a succulent plant “Pianta Grassa”. Made of hand blown light blue tinted glass with many, irregularly air bubbles, so called” pulegoso-glass” and opalescent, iridescent overlay. Plant pot and leaves are applied when glass is still hot. Created by Napoleone Martinuzzi and executed by Vetri Soffiati Muranese, Venini & Co., (V.S.M.), Murano-Italy, during in the early 1930s. Exhibitions: “Triennale delle arti decorative di Monza” 1930. This piece, comes directly from the sample room of the company Pauly & C. Venice (C.V.M.),In excellent condition, with no cracks, chips or repairs.
