Zweiteiliges Vasen-Objekt in Pokalform, schwarz-lilafarbenes Amethyst Glas mit expressiver, rauer, metallisch-irisierender Oberflächenstruktur, matt schimmernd stellenweise wie gebläuter Stahl und Goldaufschmelzungen.
Diese Corroso-Technik wurde von Alfredo Barbini vor 1950 bei Cenedese entwickelt und in den 1950er Jahren erstmalig auf der Biennale di Venezia gezeigt.
Innenseitig graviert signiert mit Cenedese.

Vetreria Gino Cenedese & C., Murano-Italy c. 1960. Expressive vase “Black Scavo”. Body in twin goblet form. Made of hand blown deep-purple tinted glass, surface rough and metallic blue iridescent with fused gold foil finished. This “scavo-corroso”-technique was designed by Alfredo Barbini in 1950s.
Incised singned: Cenedese to inside.
In excellent condition no chips, crack or repairs.
