Carlo Scarpa created for Venini & C., Murano-Italy in 1940. Very rare black vase-object “Cinesi Battuto”, part of the Battuto Series 1936-1945. Made of hand blown, dark violet glass vases body in calabash form. The surface is finished with all around small carved grooves in so called “battuto”-technique. Highest Quality! In excellent condition, with no cracks, chips or repairs.
